National Youth Dance Company are bringing their hefty ensemble work Used to be Blonde to Curve. The show’s huge cast of dancers sporting black (I assume some kind of lycra) body suits create a sea of human figures on stage. With choreography from Sharon Eyal the movement heavily and effectively portrays emotion through movement material. There’s even a moment where the whole cast Flosses in unison (no this isn’t some mass dance explora-tion of the importance of dental hygiene, I may be 27 but I know what ‘Flossing’ is (it’s a dance move the youths are doing a lot at the moment).
