Taking Place at Attenborough Arts Centre over the weekend of the 8th & 9th October, Here & Now is an open weekend of  live performance, music, film, workshops and discussions to celebrate diversity in performance and to explore how to begin and sustain an arts practice.

This is an opportunity to experience local artists work, and hear how they create it.

You might kick off the weekend by dancing some unfamiliar moves followed by chatting to Tetrad over lunch, co-writing with a group upstairs, sliding into a one-to-one performance, offering your thoughts in an artist discussion, catching a film screening, heading back into the main hall for a live performance and ending the day chilling out to music in the cafe.

To get a feel for the evening, Tetrad have sent us some footage shot at Us & Them #7, which took place at The Camden People’s Theatre.

The full line-up includes…

FUELLED DANCE THEATRE / JONNY MCLEAN / MICHAEL TEW / ROBERT HARDAKER / ALICE GALE-FEENY/ HEATHER FORKNELL / SAM METZ / JAMES HISSETT / INKMILK: G SIAN & SAMANTHA BIRNIE / DANNI SPOONER / ACCESS ALL AREAS & CIAN BIANCHY / DJ NINJA BOB / IAN DOLAN / NATALIE BEECH / OLWEN DAVIES / TOM BARNES / LINDSEY WARNES-CARROLL / HIBWORD & GUESTS / SIVAN RUBINSTEIN, HAMISH MACPHERSON & ADAM JAMES

All events are PAY-WHAT-YOU-DECIDE which means you don’t have to pay until you have taken part in the workshop or seen the show. Every penny you give will go directly to the artists involved.

If you would like to reserve a seat for either evening performance or reserve a place for a daytime workshop, performance or talk; then please contact the Attenborough Arts Centre Box Office on: 0116 252 2455
