The UK Burger Battle is returning to Leicester for a face-off between local favourites Grays (at LCB depot) and Cured (at Brewdog). The event takes place on Saturday 26th November at LCB Depot.

The idea behind the event is simple – One ticket gets you two burgers. The winner is crowned based on your votes. The teams consist of two local favourites, so expect opinion to be divided!

Cured home cure all their meats in BrewDog beers for maximum flavour. Their burgers are fresh minced and handmade on site and have been receiving top accolades including gaining high marks in a recent newspaper review. Located at Brewdog on Friars Lane, expect one awesome burger from this new outfit.

The Cured Stack: Handmade secret recipe Beef Patty, 14 day cured treacle and barley brisket, Punk IPA maple bacon, Pickles, Swiss Cheese, Brioche Bun.

Based in the cultural quarter, Grays has been bringing fresh, seasonal food to Leicester since 2013. They believe diversity is the spice of life, and no-one deserves the stagnation of choice that has become synonymous with city centre dining. With a daily changing menu based on seasonal local produce the team love to give your pallet a chance to experiment! If you are in the know then you will agree that Grays has one of Leicesters best kept secrets – which is their burger!

The Euro Burger: Grays Handcrafted Beef Patty, Nduja Butter, Smoked Lyonnaise Onion, Camembert, Grays Ketchup, Sun-dried Tomato Crouton, Rocket, Toasted Kaiser Roll

In addition to deciding which burger reigns supreme, competitive eater Emma Dalton (who has been featured on ITVs This Morning and Japanese TV with her food challenges) will be joining the event. She will be attempting to beat her own record set at a previous battle of eating 6 burgers in the shortest time possible.

UK Burger Battle hits Leicester on the 26th November at LCB Depot. Tickets are on sale now fromĀ DesignMyNight.
