Over the course of the Summer, Two Queens will be screening a new film work created by artists Hannah Quinlan and Rosie Hastings. The work explores the significance of gay cul-ture and nostalgia in the city of Blackpool. The cities a seemingly divided dynamic is focused upon, dancing across the realms of reductive traditionalism (a town that voted Brexit with overwhelming majority) and a queer utopia complete with a history steeped in drag and musi-cal theatre.
Venue: Two Queens
Date(s): 30/06 – 03/09/2018
