American Blues musician, Seasick Steve, has today announced a UK tour set to begin this November. With Leicester’s De Montfort Hall being only one of seven dates to be played here in the UK.

The tour comes after the pensioner guitarist from Oakland, California announced a new album Can U Cook, which is set to be released in late September. It will be his 9th album in 14 years, since his debut release Cheap back in 2004.

Steven Gene Wold, better known as Seasick Steve, has always been well received in this country. Winning the 2007 MOJO Award for Best Breakthrough Act and going on to appear at major UK festivals such as Leicester’s Summer Sunday. In 2007 he played more UK festivals than any other artist. Even now into his seventies, Steve continues to prove that age is just a number with this announcement proving he has no intentions of stopping just yet.

Seasick Steve will be performing for one night only at De Montfort Hall on Saturday 17th November 2018. Tickets go on sale on Thursday 12th July at 9am and are available at ticketmaster.
