Akram Khan’s Xenos marks his final performance dancing in a full length piece of work. This latest solo show gurgles with a fuzzy darkness, it’s warped set laden with ropes and smatterings of dirt steers and contorts Khan as he executes his signature collision of traditional Kathak and contemporary movement. Exploring and offering a voice to a shell-shocked colonial soldier of World War One, Xenos exposes the extremes of the human condition.

Xenos will be performed at The Curve on 21st and 22nd September.
