This Saturday local improvised comedy specialists The Same Faces will be celebrating their 5th anniversary with a special show at The Criterion Free House.

The group, which predominantly features local talent, was founded by local comedian, Tom Young, with Allan Smith & Mike Brown in March 2013, and has gone from strength to strength in the time since. Now performing twice monthly in Leicester (with a third show in Northampton), gigging around the country, and training new players from scratch, The Same Faces’ achievements recently culminated with a nomination for Best Improv Show at the 2018 Leicester Comedy Festival.

To celebrate this half decade of making audiences laugh together, The Same Faces will be performing a special show featuring members who’ve played a significant role in their past, present, and/or future, including the original line up who did the very first gig five years ago.

Every joke, scene, and song is completely made up on the spot, based on audience suggestions. If you’ve never seen The Same Faces before, discover what you’ve been missing (plus it’s a birthday, so there will be cake).

The Same Faces are at The Criterion on the 7th April
