The Black Country’s semi-famous daughter and only full time stand-up comic, Susan Murray brings her blistering new satire show to the Leicester Comedy Festival on 17th February at 8pm.
‘Ya Cor Say That’, is the brand new show by this insatiable comedian, who has been described as a cross between Frankie Boyle and Julie Walters. This Scot manufactured in the Black Country performs an hour of top quality gags and dark observations as she fights against middle age, her own mother, undercooked bacon, the price of boilers and the current government.
A professional of the comedy circuit, Susan won the first ever Jongleurs new act competition and has contributed to an array of Radio 4 comedy: The Now Show, News Quiz, Newsjack and The Show What You Wrote, Jeremy Hardy Speaks To The Nation and was a guest on Stephen K Amos’ Idiots Guide .
She is the only woman to MC decompression gigs for the British Army. Not only that Susan is a published author and wrote the chapter on comedy in the bestselling cult book Counter Culture UK; A Celebration.
Susan Murray is at Kayal on 17th February.
