Hot on the heels of a successful run at Edinburgh Fringe, comedian and podcaster Sofie Hagen brings her show Dead Baby Frog to the Little Theatre on a tour with a difference…

Sofie Hagen is, first and foremost, very funny. Since coming to the UK from Denmark she has won the Chortle Best Newcomer award and the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Best Newcomer the year after, and sold out her Edinburgh Fringe 2016 show Shimmer Shatter. She’s appeared on The One Show, The Now Show and Live From The BBC, and this is her biggest national tour to date. But that’s not all that makes it special.

Sofie’s career has always focused on people being good to people – she hosts the Made Of Human podcast, where she and guests discuss what it is that they do to cope with being an adult. She also hosts Sofie Hagen Is Alone With Other People (or SHIAWOP) in London, “a comedy night for nice people”, where she promises to only book “very, very nice comedians”. This is something she’s continuing on this tour by ensuring that it is arguably the most welcoming comedy show you will ever attend.

Sofie has listed this tour as anxiety safe, being a sufferer herself, and has also ensured that all venues on the tour will be offering only gender-neutral toilets to make life easier for trans and non-binary people. If you would like to attend but anxiety is an issue for you, Sofie invites you to email her at tour@sofiehagen.com with any requests that would make it easier for you to make it to the show. Couple this with The Little Theatre being a Best Venue award recipient in Leicester Comedy Festival’s 2017 awards and a very funny show, which she describes only as being “about anger and a funeral”, becomes an unmissable one.
