Hotly tipped Leicester act Magique have announced a new headline show at The Cookie on Friday 3rd November. Following on from appearances at Handmade, Citadel and shows across the UK with Palace and Toothless, Magique – who so far have been cloaked in a veil of mystery, look to announce themselves as a leading light of a blossoming scene as they preview brand new material, recorded with Foals Alumni Kit Monteith, Production duo Jamie Ward and Matt Daly and mixed by Grammy Nominated Producer Tony Hoffer.

Magique is the brain-child and recording project of CJ Pandit, brought to life in the live environment with a five piece band. Think Tame Impala, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Glass Animals and Bon Iver, and you’re somewhere close.

Hopping between LA, Oxford and Berlin over the summer to finish the newest material, slated for release in the next couple of months, you can expect a nostalgic look back over the last few months of summer memories.

Magique play The Cookie on Friday the 3rd November. Tickets are available here.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Great Central, John has been actively involved in Leicester's creative community for over a decade - promoting shows and releasing records under the name Robot Needs Home. He is a director of Handmade Festival, and ex member of the band Maybeshewill.
