From humble beginnings making her own CDs and self-releasing her debut album, to a Mercury prize nomination, collaborations with legendary musicians and TV appearances on the likes of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, there is no doubt that Kathryn Williams is at the top of her game.

Signed to One Little Indian Records, her latest venture sees her collaborate with revered musician Anthony Kerr on new album Resonator. The album features a feast of classic jazz favourites re-imagined and stripped back. The pair create fresh, delicate and haunting new versions of songs like ‘My Funny Valentine’, ‘Every Time We Say Goodbye’, ‘Stormy Weather’ and ‘Autumn Leaves’.

Kathryn headlined the Musician back in April on her last visit to Leicester, but on this occasion she will be appearing as a special guest support to Ivor Novello award winning Scott Matthews.

Brush away those autumn leaves, brave the stormy weather and head out for an evening of high quality entertainment.

Catch Kathryn at the Cookie supporting Scott Matthews on the 9th November.
