There are certain people that beam energy and life into a room, (or hall) and there are certain people who have appeared on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, Impractical Jokers, Russell Howard’s Good News and Drunk History. The center of that Venn diagram leaves only one person, the incredibly talented Joel Dommett.

You would be forgiven for thinking he has only been on the comedy scene for more than a few years, however Dommett has been around for a decade and is a good as ever. Whilst still incredibly playful, charming, quick-witted and that definition of infectiously funny, he has now matured to the point he can get away with calling his tour ‘Live’.

Whether you have seen him in the jungle crawling through catfish genitals or whether you have in fact caught a glimpse of Joel’s famously cat-fished genitals, or whether you have seen him supporting the likes of Kathryn Ryan or even seen his viral video of him trusting someone with his confetti cannon, he is ceaselessly entertaining and his tour is really worth catching for both his skill as a stand-up and as one of the best British story tellers.

Joel Dommett is at DeMontfort Hall on the 17th November
