Seemingly indestructible as a band, Her Name Is Calla are the last survivors of a music scene of ‘unusual’ bands that saw Leicester shine in the late 00’s and early 10’s. While most of their peers have called it a day, and despite countless line-up adjustments, ‘Calla are still at the top of their game. Their monolithic and intensely atmospheric sonic is truly spectacular, and with a new EP out in June on Function records they’re bringing their show to The Cookie for a free Sunday night gaze in to the musical apocalypse.

Her Name is Calla play Sunday 17th June at The Cookie
