Hayley Ellis and Rob Auton come to Leicester as part of The Cookie’s series of Edinburgh Fringe Previews.

Hayley is a Comedian, Actress and Human being. She has appeared in loads of dead prestigious joke lists. Such as The Independent’s Edinburgh Fringe: 25 funniest jokes of all-time and The Mirror’s Best 21 jokes told at the fringe in the last decade. She is a former regular sight gag contributor for the Russell Howard’s Good News and has appeared on MTV’s “Why aye love Geordie Shore” and “Comedy Set Lists” for Virgin television. She can also sometimes be heard on Absolute Radio and her sketches and jokes have appeared on Newsjack.

Rob Auton describes himself as am a man who likes the sky and the ground in equal measures. He is a stand-up comedian and poet and has had his work played on the radio by Scroobius Pip, Jarvis Cocker and Cerys Matthews.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Great Central, John has been actively involved in Leicester's creative community for over a decade - promoting shows and releasing records under the name Robot Needs Home. He is a director of Handmade Festival, and ex member of the band Maybeshewill.
