London Quartet Goat Girl are being hailed as the band to restore the South East’s indie scene. Formed in 2016 after meeting at various south London venues, they take their name from Bill Hicks legendary routine ‘Goat Boy’. They play their own brand of scuzzy garage rock and cite Metronomy and Sonic Youth among their influences and have grown up as a band alongside the likes of HMLTD, Shame and Sorry. Their debut LP drops this April on Rough Trade Records.
