Leicester’s very own explosive gypsy punks The Brandy Thieves have become renowned for putting on some of the best shows in the city. Not only due to the band’s own electric stage performance, but because a Brandy Thieves show tends to be more than just a gig. Whether it be magicians, fortune tellers, circus performers or belly dancers, the folk punk band always seem to have something up their sleeves. April sees them teaming up the some of city’s best burlesque dancers to put an evening with a difference at The Music Café. Also on the bill are live favourite King Rocker, a classic rock band fronted by an Elvis impersonator, and prog psyche quartet Gu-ru.

Brandy & Burlesque takes place Saturday 14th April at 2Funky Music Café.
