Drunk folk singer, barefoot troubadour and cult legend Beans on Toast returns to Leicester  at the end of the month, following on his incredible show at Handmade Festival in May.

The tour is in support of his new record, Spanner in the works, out on his long-time home Xtra mile recordings – also home to the likes of Frank Turner and Chris T-T. As the name suggests, he’ll be doing things a little differently for this album – but that’s all he’s let slip so far.

Beans is an incredible storyteller – warm, self deprecating and unpredictable, effortlessly demolishing the barriers between audience and performer. With 7 studio albums behind him, his politically motivated folk songs are as thought provoking and inspiring as ever.

Catch Beans on Toast at The Soundhouse on 30th November. Support comes from Hebden Bridge blues duo Tensheds and Kansas based singer songwriter Sky Smeed.
