“This isn’t just another arts night.” Reads the BadArt press release, and for once we’d agree that it actually isn’t.

BadArt purports to be “an international anti-capitalist arts organisation” and they’re aiming to make art that fights back, with their Protest Showcase acting as a platform for artist-activists to bring a range of talents to the table and make a stand against capitalism’s control of the arts.

Protest Showcase will feature music, projection, spoken word and much more. This is the first step to a world where art, artists and people can flourish. BadArt isn’t just about saying what’s wrong. It’s about fighting to change it.

BadArt takes place on Sunday 17th September Upstairs at the western.
