Is there a more cathartic way to spend Halloween than with Allusondrugs and Crywank? Obviously thats a rhetorical question: Their names contain the words ‘drugs’, ‘cry’ and ‘wank’ – But there’s a lot more at play here than just universally-appealing (and/or offensive) band names.

Despite forming as recently as 2012, Yorkshire’s Allusondrugs have released a respectable pair of EPs in their self-described ‘psych-pop-grunge’ genre, and have played seemingly millions of shows -including tour supports with the likes of Enter Shikari and Lonely the Brave. They begin their 30-date-strong UK ‘Winter Tour’ in Leicester, with support coming from the starkly contrasting Crywank – Manchester’s celebrated anti-folk duo. Poetic and prolific, they aren’t to be missed. There isn’t any sign of a rigid code for fancy dress, but it’s Halloween, for goodness sake.

You can catch Allusondrugs at Jumpin’ Jacks on 28th October.
