Frightarama – Leicester’s annual all night celebration of horror movies in all their forms – has announced it’s line up for this coming weekends event.

The programme includes Roman Polanski’s unsettling 1968 masterpiece Rosemary’s Baby, Neil Marshall’s The Descent screened in 35mm, psychedelic Japanese arthouse curio Hausu, schlock classic Tremors (also in 35mm), and eerie and elegant Edgar Allen Poe adaptation Pit And The Pendulum, starring Vincent Price. 

The screenings will be will be complemented with a selection of scary short films curated by The Short Cinema, horror gaming in the Phoenix cafe and themed food and drink. Attendees are encouraged wear fancy dress (and bring a change of comfortable clothes) for the chance to win prizes.

Frightarama runs from 10pm on Friday 28th October at Phoenix Cinema.
