City centre bar Firebug have announced that they are introducing their new cocktail menu with a launch party on Monday 7th August from 7pm. The event will feature tasters for guests to sample, as well as Happy Hour prices all night.

The bar’s new cocktail menu includes innovative drinks created by Firebug’s own staff, such as Eddie’s Southern Belle – an Old Fashioned inspired Southern Comfort cocktail with hints of hazelnut and orange, and Charlotte’s Tijuana Charlie; an easy drinking blend of Tijuana Sweet Heat, caramel and apple flavours. “It’s lovely to be able to promote drinks that were created here” says General Manager, Hayley Vann. “Our staff are really enthusiastic about developing their ideas and coming up with their own cocktails, so it’s great to be able to acknowledge some of those that stand out.”

For those who prefer their cocktails non-alcoholic, there are new mocktails on offer, including The Bubbleberry Blast which mixes the ‘Bug’s homemade raspberry puree with bubblegum syrup and bitter lemon. Alongside the new offerings are plenty of Firebug’s old favourites such as the Dualitea, Rockaberry and Mint Choc Chip.

Firebug is on Millstone Lane in the city centre. The Cocktail Menu Launch Party runs from 7pm on Monday 7th August.
