Leicester’s By The Rivers have stood astride the Leicester music scene for as long as we can remember. Loved by fans and the scene as a whole, they’ve released a series of records that have been as infectious as they have been polished, toured the country, and put their stamp on the city as a whole.

On New Years Eve the band announced they would be calling time on their career, but that new music would inevitably be coming from the prolific songwriters in the coming year, with this statement:

“As the year has come to an end, we think it’s the right time to let you know that ‘By The Rivers’ has also come to an end. Maybe in time we will produce more of the BTR sound but for now we are moving on to other projects.

Thank you all for the love and support you have shown us throughout the last 6 years of our lives.
Meeting you all, talking, dancing, partying and all of the memories in between have been truly inspiring and will last a life time.

We are now working on new music so we hope you can follow our journey and hopefully we will meet you all again along the way in the near future.
We will keep you updated.

In the mean time, Happy New Year to you all!
Peace and Love
By The Rivers
