Bring The Paint is a free event set to transform Leicester’s Cultural Quarter with vibrant street art. The area will play host to live artworks, music, skateboarding, BMX and a range of creative activities and exhibitions.

Leicester’s Cultural Quarter will host over 150 artists making this Leicester’s largest ever artist residency, with live music, pop-up exhibitions, local jams, window illustrations, food stalls and workshops with events taking place in venues and on the street.

Artists confirmed for the event include Bates, Kinos, Boogie, Cantwo, Newso, Ruelo, Smug, Zomby, 2Kold & Chik.

Bring The Paint aims to inspire a legacy of growth and collaboration within the artistic community and beyond. This festival will showcase a visual celebration of Leicester’s diverse culture and galvanise an already thriving arts scene.

Sean Carrol of The Cultural Quarter Association, the team behind the event explains; “CQA are really proud of this project, it comes from years of working together, building a community and shared vision; developing genuine partnerships to deliver something incredibly ambitious for a city we love.”

“I’m really looking forward to working with the Bring The Paint team in Leicester.” explains Smug, one of the artists featured at Bring the paint. “It’s awesome to see people working hard to put a street art event on in the UK and the line up looks amazing.”
