We want to let Leicester know just how great a city it is.

We’ve heard “nothing ever happens here” one too many times, and we know that it’s just not true. Great Central was born to be part of the solution to that.

Our quarterly newspaper and website are constantly previewing great music, comedy, art, theatre and performance before it comes to the city, and focussing on the venues, bars, restaurants and shops that form the fabric of the city’s culture, nightlife and independent economy.

With an estimated print readership in excess of 20,000, and over 1000 unique visitors to our website per day, we’re in a unique position to reach people who have a genuine interest in Leicester’s arts, culture, entertainment and nightlife.

We are entirely supported by advertising and the good will of our team of voluntary writers, photographers and designers.
