Having recently dropped his Weikie pseudonym, and moved away from his singer/songwriter back catalogue, Adam Weikert has launched a pledge music campaign to fund his new release under his ‘real’ name. Entitled USIDOH, the project is a selection of Poems and Songs he wrote to deal with a series of traumas.

“The poems were written years and years ago, but the soundtrack got halted for a long time while I concentrated on my singer/songwriter material. This all ground to a halt however when I was diagnosed with a temporal chest condition that stopped me singing for months.” explains Adam. “After the initial despondency this brought, I began to realise this was the perfect opportunity to re-engage with USIDOH. To reinvent what I was doing, and create something completely different from my sung content. Something Neoclassical, challenging, and new. And that’s what I’d like to share with you.”

A percentage of the income from the fundraiser will be donated to the charity CALM.

You can support the fundraiser over at Pledge Music.
